Volunteer activities are integral to the operation of the LRCA. We have volunteer opportunities year-round which include both office and field work. Office opportunities include administration assistance, communications, and PR assistance. Field opportunities include River, Trail, and Conservancy Preserve Stewardship, native plant rescue, River and Trail policing and more.
If you would like to volunteer to help us bring our beloved Canoe-a-Thon back to RiverFest, please indicate on the form if you would like to be part of the Safety Committee or Timekeeping Committee.

The LRCA values ecological diversity as well as social diversity! We do NOT tolerate discrimination. We welcome anyone who wishes to donate their time to support our projects and programs!
Do I have to be committed to the LRCA? No. Whether you want to be a regular volunteer or a one-time volunteer, we accept all the help we can get! No long-term commitment required. No membership required, although encouraged.
What if I can only volunteer for an hour or two? That is fine with us! We respect your time, so you decide how much time you donate to us.
